When selecting a certain perfume as a present, make sure that the receiver will love it and will be able to use it. There is nothing as upsetting as a bottle of perfume that is not being used but gathering cobwebs on a shelf! Therefore it is essential that you take some time to find the ideal perfume gift for that special person it is intended for.

WHAT PERFUME TO GIVE
Before buying perfume as a gift you must make sure that the receiver of the gift actually likes wearing perfume. Lots of people are suffering from allergies and are very sensitive to certain fragrances. It would be a bad decision to give a perfume gift to such a person! Some people do not wear scents regularly, but you could give them a gift of perfumed lotions, sachets, room sprays or scented candles. Most people would enjoy receiving one of these gifts as it can be used as wonderful scents or for decorating their home.

A big mistake that men often make is to buy a fragrance that they have smelled on someone else before. They liked the way it smelled and think that the special person in their life will also like it. - Most powerful of all the scent strengths
- The perfume comes in very small, beautifully designed bottles
A gift of genuine perfume will always be valued, but only if you have a large budget!

2. Eau de Toilette
- Cheaper than genuine perfume
- Less powerful than genuine perfume as it is eight to fifteen percent essential oil
- Comes in a larger bottle
An ideal gift if you have a smaller budget!

3. Eau de Cologne
- Much cheaper than genuine perfume
- Less powerful than genuine perfume as it is about four percent essential oil
- Comes in a much larger bottle

An ideal gift if you have a smaller budget or do not require a pricey gift! Some perfume companies have gift packages available that consist of a number of small bottles each containing a different scent. This also makes a very special perfume gift!
